Oakland Athletics outfielder Denzel Clarke undeniably made one of the biggest home run robberies of the season. Clarke’s outstanding catch stunned MLB fans and his teammates as he soared above the center field wall at Angel Stadium to rob Nolan Schanuel of a sure home run.
The Angels’ first baseman was in disbelief as he was forced to walk back to the dugout instead of trotting the bases. Angels pitcher Grant Holman was one among many in the stadium who were shocked to watch him make the incredible play. The entire stadium was impressed with the rookie’s athleticism.

Oakland Athletics Fall To The Angels Despite Denzel Clarke’s Incredible Catch
The A’s were unable to hold off the Angels as they surrendered seven runs and scored only four in return. Despite Clarke making the best catch of the season yet, they were unable to win and are struggling at the bottom of the AL West.
The A’s are 11.5 games behind the Houston Astros on top and are 17 games behind the .500 mark. With a 26-42 record, their chances of making the playoffs are already looking slim. Denzel Clarke seems to be one of the bright spots for his team. The A’s are ranked at No. 27 in their week 11 MLB power rankings.
