The San Francisco Giants are currently dealing with some serious allegations involving pitcher Sean Hjelle.
Recently, Caroline Hjelle, Sean’s wife, took to TikTok to share a heartfelt video. Caroline revealed her struggles as a single mother raising their two boys after Sean allegedly abandoned them on Mother’s Day.
She expressed feelings of hurt after discovering his affairs and detailed her experiences of abuse. However, the league came into action and is investigating the matter as a priority.
After a game, Sean Hjelle chose not to comment on the situation but mentioned that he and Caroline are in the process of finalizing their divorce. He plans to make an official statement eventually, but wants to meet with those managing the situation first.

In response to the allegations, the Giants released a statement saying they are aware of the situation and that MLB is in charge of the investigation. Giants’ manager Bob Melvin added that while they’re mindful of what’s happening, Hjelle would still be available to pitch against the Red Sox.
