The month of May has come to an end as MLB swings into June, bringing more exciting baseball for the summer.
The NBA and NHL seasons are nearing their conclusion, and MLB will take center stage through the end of spring with teams showcasing impressive offense and pitching.
Meanwhile, other MLB teams continue to improve their records and rankings for a shot at capturing and potentially holding onto first place in their respective divisions. While there is still plenty of baseball to enjoy, it’s been a wild ride so far, and it continues to get even more exciting.
Here are your MLB Power Rankings after week 10.
Who are the top-ranking MLB teams after week 10 of action?
30. Colorado Rockies (Last week 30)

The Rockies’ misfortunes continued with the team getting swept by the Cubs and Mets, respectively. At this point, putting a stopper into the Rockies’ season might be the best thing to happen to the team to stop the bleeding. On top of that, pitchers Chase Dollander and Ryan Feltner are both on the 15-day injured list, adding to more pain and suffering in “the Mile High City.”
29. Chicago White Sox (Last week 29)

The White Sox also had a rough week 10. Unlike the Rockies, the White Sox managed to secure a win against the Mets. Andrew Benintendi recorded four RBIs in the White Sox’s only victory of the week, but the team was swept by the Orioles. Additionally, the White Sox have Miguel Castro on the 15-day injured list, which is unfortunate, but this MLB team must keep pushing forward.
28. Pittsburgh Pirates (Last week 27)

The Pirates started the week hot, with a 2-1 series win over the Diamondbacks, but lost a tough 1-2 series against the Padres. Andrew McCutchen hit a 396-foot home run in game two against the Padres, and Paul Skenes struck out seven batters in 6.2 innings in game three against the D-Backs. However, the loss to the Padres stings, due to the Pirates’ bats not connecting with enough hits against the Padres’ pitching. On to the next one.
27. Athletics (Last week 25)

The Athletics had a brutal week, getting swept by the Astros and Blue Jays, respectively. JP Sears struggled against the Astros’ power hitters in their 1-11 loss in game one, giving up 10 hits and nine earned runs, and early pitching is becoming an issue for the A’s. If the pitching struggles continue, it’ll be a long rest of the 2025 MLB season, especially with Ken Waldichuk on the 60-day injured list.
26. Baltimore Orioles (Last week 28)

The Orioles lost a 1-2 series against the Cardinals, but made up for it by sweeping the White Sox. Dylan Carson hit a three-run homer in game one against the Cardinals, Zach Eflin pitched seven scoreless innings in game one against the White Sox, and Charlie Morton pitched into the seventh inning against the White Sox. Despite the lost series against the Cardinals, the Orioles overpowered the White Sox on all fronts, giving the team a well-needed adrenaline boost.
25. Miami Marlins (Last week 26)

The Marlins had a rough week, losing their series against the Padres and the Giants, respectively. Agustín Ramírez had four hits, including a home run in game three against the Padres, and Edward Cabrera pitched 5 ⅔ scoreless innings against the Giants in game two. The Marlins saw some defensive errors from rookie Ronny Simon and couldn’t get any hits going against the Giants. The Marlns must turn things around quickly.
24. Los Angeles Angels (Last week 20)

The Angels had a brutal week, getting swept by the Yankees and losing a 1-2 series against the Guardians. José Soriano threw six scoreless innings against the Guardians in game one, and Mike Trout had a hit in his return to the lineup. However, the Angels’ offense struggled by not getting enough hits in week 10 of the MLB, dealt with numerous strikeouts, and had very few walks to base.
23. Arizona Diamondbacks (Last week 16)

The Diamondbacks had a rough week, losing both their series against the Pirates and the Nationals. Ryan Nelson allowed four hits in 6 ⅔ innings against the Pirates in game one, and Eugenio Suárez hit a massive home run, but lost Corbin Burnes to an elbow injury in game three against the Nationals. Losing Burnes will hurt the D-Backs, and they had defensive lapses and couldn’t score enough runs throughout the week.
22. Atlanta Braves (Last week 21)

The Braves had a rough week, losing their series against the Phillies and Red Sox, respectively. Chris Sale reached 2,500 strikeouts in game three against the Phillies, and Spencer Schwellenbach struck out 11 batters in 6 ⅓ innings in game two against the Red Sox, on his birthday, no less. The Braves struggled with runners in scoring position in their series against the Red Sox and must turn things around if they want to stay competitive in the NL East.
21. Washington Nationals (Last week 24)

The Nationals had a solid week, winning their series against the Mariners and Diamondbacks. Robert Hassell III had three hits and two RBI, including his first MLB home run in game two against the Mariners, and beat the Diamondbacks with 10 runs in the first inning of game two. The Nationals played well and aggressively against two very competitive teams, and must continue playing solid offense against their upcoming competition.
20. Cincinnati Reds (Last week 18)

The Reds had a decent week, winning a 2-1 series against the Royals, but losing a tough 1-2 divisional series against the Cubs. Elly De La Cruz hit a homer after learning about his sister’s death in game three against the Cubs, and De La Cruz hit two long homers against the Royals in game two. Nick Martinez had a rough afternoon against the Cubs in game three, while Austin Hayes is on the 10-day injured list with an oblique injury, as of May 30.
19. Texas Rangers (Last week 22)

The Rangers lost a tough 1-2 series against the Blue Jays, but rebounded with a 2-1 series win over the Cardinals. Josh Jung’s two-out single helped pinch runner Sam Haggerty score a run in game two against the Blue Jays, Wyatt Langford had two RBIs and a home run in game one against the Cardinals, and Jacob deGrom had four hits and four strikeouts in six innings against the Cardinals in game three. The Rangers played well against the Cardinals offensively, and must continue playing solid offense against the competition in the coming weeks in the MLB.
18. Boston Red Sox (Last week 15)

The Red Sox had a tough start to their week, getting swept by the Brewers, but they won a 2-1 series against the Braves. Trevor Story hit a go-ahead homer in game one, and Garrett Crochet struck out 12 batters in seven innings in game three. Although the Red Sox played well against the Braves, they struggled against the Brewers due to offensive and bullpen woes in that series.
17. Tampa Bay Rays (Last week 17)

The Rays had a decent week, winning a 2-1 series against the Twins and tying a four-game series against the Astros. Jonathan Aranda hit a three-run homer in game one against the Twins, Junior Caminero hit a homer and had six RBIs against the Astros in game one, and Caminero hit two home runs in game three against the Astros. A very good week for the Rays offensively, as they continue to make noise in the AL East standings.
16. Kansas City Royals (Last week 13)

The Royals had a tough week 10 in the MLB, losing their series to the Reds and Tigers, respectively. Noah Cameron pitched into the seventh inning of game three against the Reds, and Vinnie Pasquantino’s one-out single helped drive in Nick Loftin in game two against the Tigers. The Royals’ offense struggled against the Tigers and Reds, and Lucas Erceg is on the 15-day injured list.
15. Toronto Blue Jays (Last week 19)

The Blue Jays had a phenomenal week, winning a 2-1 series against the Rangers and sweeping the Athletics. Kevin Gausman pitched eight solid innings in game one against the Rangers, Ernie Clement had a home run and five RBIs in game one against the A’s, and George Springer had two home runs in game three against the A’s. The Blue Jays’ offense shone, and their pitching looked sharp, even though Max Scherzer is on the 60-day injured list with a thumb injury.
14. Minnesota Twins (Last week 11)

The Twins had a rough week, losing their series against the Rays and Mariners, respectively. Kody Klemons hit his fifth home run of the season with his dad in attendance at game two against the Rays, and Carlos Correa hit a two-run home run in game one against the Mariners. However, the Twins struggled to score in extra innings, missed out on scoring opportunities, and faced strong pitching from both the Rays and Mariners.
13. Houston Astros (Last week 14)

The Astros had a solid week 10 in the MLB, sweeping the Athletics in two games and splitting a four-game series against the Rays. Jose Altuve had four hits and two home runs against the A’s in game one, Hunter Brown won eight starts and allowed one hit in six innings in their game four win against the Rays, and Victor Caratini drove in two runs in their game two win over the A’s. The Astros are getting closer to capturing first place in the AL West and are looking more dangerous as the season continues.
12. Milwaukee Brewers (Last week 23)

The Brewers had an immaculate week, sweeping both the Red Sox and Phillies. Rhys Hoskins had two home runs and six RBIs in game two against the Phillies, Christian Yelich had two home runs against the Phillies in game one, and Yelich hit a grand slam against the Red Sox in game two. The Brewers’ offense looked incredible, and they must continue playing this way to catch up to the first-place Cubs in the NL Central.
11. Cleveland Guardians (Last week 9)

The Guardians lost a tough 1-2 homestand against the Dodgers, but managed to win a 2-1 homestand against the Angels. Angel Martínez hit a three-run homer against the Dodgers in game three, and Gavin Williams allowed one hit in 6 ⅔ innings against the Angels in game three. Despite losing a tough series against the Dodgers, the Guardians played well against the Angels thanks to good hitting and pitching.
10. Seattle Mariners (Last week 8)

The Mariners lost a tough 1-2 series against the Nationals, but managed to win a 2-1 series against the Twins. Julio Rodríguez hit a two-run home run and Cal Raleigh hit a solo home run in game one against the Nationals, and Raleigh hit his 23rd home run of the MLB season in game three against the Twins. Despite the tough series loss against the Nationals, the Mariners’ hitting and pitching bounced back against the Twins, and they must stay focused if they want to maintain control of the AL West.
9. San Francisco Giants (Last week 7)

The Giants had a rough start to their week, getting swept by the Tigers, but winning a 2-1 series against the Marlins. Kyle Harrison pitched five shutout innings in game one against the Marlins, and Luis Matos hit a three-run homer in game three against the Marlins. Even though the Giants won a hard-fought series against the Marlins, the team struggled on offense against the Tigers’ effective pitchers.
8. St. Louis Cardinals (Last week 10)

The Cardinals started the week well, winning a 2-1 series against the Orioles, but lost a tough 1-2 series against the Rangers. Nolan Arenado hit a tiebreaking home run against the Orioles in game two, and Sonny Gray struck out 10 batters in game two against the Rangers. The Cardinals’ pitching was no match for the Rangers’ powerful bats, but the Cardinals’ offense made quick work of the Orioles earlier in the week, and must rebound in the coming weeks.
7. San Diego Padres (Last week 12)

The Padres had a solid week 10 in the MLB, winning their series against the Marlins and Pirates, respectively. Luis Arraez drove in the tying go-ahead run in game two against the Marlins, and closer Robert Suarez got a huge third strike while the bases were loaded in game one against the Pirates. The Padres’ offense played well, and their bullpen got the team out of tough situations. The Padres must continue playing sharp if they want to catch up to the Dodgers for first place in the NL West.
6. Philadelphia Phillies (Last week 1)

The Phillies started the week strong with a 2-1 series victory over the Braves, but the Brewers swept them. Ranger Suárez struck out eight batters in six shutout innings during game one against the Braves, and Rafael Marchán hit a two-run homer in game two against the Braves. The Phillies’ offense and pitching struggled against the Brewers, and the absence of Bryce Harper from the lineup due to an elbow injury significantly impacts the offense going forward.
5. New York Yankees (Last week 3)

The Yankees started their Southern California trip strong with a sweep against the Angels, but lost a tough 1-2 series against the Dodgers. Anthony Volpe hit a three-run double against the Angels in game one, Carlos Rodón pitched seven sharp innings in game two against the Angels, and Ryan Yarbrough limited the Dodgers’ great offense to four hits in their game three victory. The Yankees’ offense has played well despite running into the defending World Series champions, and they must bounce back from their 1-2 series loss against the Dodgers.
4. Los Angeles Dodgers (Last week 4)

The Dodgers had a solid week, winning their series against the Guardians and Yankees, respectively. Shohei Ohtani hit his 20th home run in game two against the Guardians, Ohtani outdueled Judge in game one against the Yankees, and the Dodgers pounded the Yankees 18-2 in game two of that series. The Dodgers’ offense and pitching remain among the best in the league and continue to strike fear in their opponents in the MLB.
3. Chicago Cubs (Last week 6)

The Cubs had an impressive week, sweeping the Rockies and winning a 2-1 divisional series against the Reds. Jameson Taillon allowed four hits in seven innings in game one against the Rockies, Michael Busch hit a home run and had three RBIs in game three against the Reds, and Pete Crow-Armstrong hit his 15th home run in game three against the Rockies. Crow-Armstrong is emerging as one of the league’s best hitters, while the Cubs continue to dominate in the NL Central.
2. New York Mets (Last week 5)

The Mets had a very impressive week, winning a 2-1 series against the White Sox and sweeping the Rockies with ease. Tyrone Taylor hit a leadoff double in the ninth inning against the White Sox in game one, Francisco Lindor homered from both sides of the plate in game one against the Rockies, and Juan Soto hit a home run and had an RBI in game three against the Rockies. The Mets continue to dominate on offense and should continue their domination in the coming weeks.
1. Detroit Tigers (Last week 2)

The Tigers had a dominating week 10 in the MLB, sweeping the Giants and winning a 2-1 series against the Royals. Keider Montero pitched five effective innings in game one against the Giants, Justyn-Henry Malloy hit a go-ahead single in a wild fifth inning against the Giants in game three, and Dillon Dingler had three hits, including a home run in game one against the Royals. The Tigers’ offense has been impressive and should cause nightmares to opposing pitchers in the coming weeks.
