Aaron Judge is ready to take on any challenge thrown at him in 2025. The Yankees captain had a great season in 2024. He won the AL MVP and helped the team reach the World Series. Judge led the league with home runs, and this season, he’s going to be stronger.
Despite making the World Series, several teams trolled the Yanks for their struggles, especially in their last game. The same goes with Judge. After having a productive season, many spoke out about his playoff performance.
Recently, MLB sportscaster Rich Eisen gave a bold response to hardcore Red Sox fan Chris Brockman. During his show, Eisen mentioned that Aaron Judge is on paternity leave. Brockman sarcastically asked Eisen if Judge was going to come back in September. Eisen and Brockman are used to roasting each other’s favorite teams and players on the show.
Eisen then mentioned that Judge is spending time with the future home run queen. Eisen was referring to Judge’s newborn daughter, Nora Rose. Initially, he was unaware if Judge had a son or a daughter. Later on, he corrected himself, saying home run Queen instead of home run King.
“He’s enjoying time with the future home run king of major league baseball. I don’t even know if it’s a boy or a girl.” Eisen said. “Future home run Queen of baseball, that’s who he’s hanging with.”

Judge is certainly enjoying his time off with his daughter. The Yankees captain is expected to start spring training on March 1. The slugger mentioned that he’s the quickest diaper changer in the clubhouse.

When asked about his experience as a first-time Dad, Judge said: “Oh, yeah. I’m the quickest in the clubhouse!” The captain also mentioned that he’s faster than his wife, Samantha.
“Oh yeah. I’ve got it all down. There’s a science to it. It’s like golf. You’ve just got to get out there and play a little bit to figure it out,” Aaron Judge said via NJ.com.
Judge is eyeing another MVP run in 2025. However, his most important dream is to secure a ring. Being a new Dad will surely give the slugger extra motivation to play. On the other hand, Judge’s former teammate Anthony Rizzo is having a tough offseason.
