You think Philadelphia Phillies fans are excited to see their team making noise in the MLB Playoffs?
The Phillies took a 2-1 lead in the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves thanks to a dominating 9-1 win at Citizens Bank Park yesterday afternoon. With that, they are now just one win away from reaching their first National League Championship Series since 2010.
Prior to Game 3 on Friday, a reporter from PHL17 caught up with a fan from the Phillies’ “Phandemic Krew,” who spoke about how much this playoff run meant to him.
Not holding anything back, the man they call “The Philly Captain” admitted that this was the greatest moment of his life…despite having children.
“This is probably the greatest moment of my life. I have children,” he said. “They were born, but they kind of disappointed me. And I don’t think the Phillies are gonna disappoint me this year. I think we’re going to the World Series.”
The Phillies continue their series with the Braves today when they host their AL East foes for Game 4, in what’s the first of four MLB playoff games on Saturday’s slate.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
