San Francisco Giants pitcher Sean Hjelle is facing serious allegations from his wife, Caroline Hjelle, who accused him of abuse, infidelity, and abandoning their two young sons.
The shocking claims surfaced on TikTok, where Caroline shared a brief but emotional video featuring her children, along with a blunt message calling out her MLB player husband.
“When my MLB husband abandons us on Mothers Day a week after this once I finally found out about his affairs and stopped putting up with his abuse, so I’ve been raising two boys alone,” she wrote.
The video shows their sons wearing T-shirts featuring a cartoon version of their family, including Sean, easily recognizable by his height and No. 64 jersey number.
Accusations Rock MLB Family

The couple tied the knot in 2021 during a private ceremony in Richmond, Virginia. Since then, Caroline has become a familiar face on TikTok, giving fans a glimpse into their life behind the scenes of the major leagues. Her content often highlighted Sean’s career and towering 6-foot-11 frame, sometimes referring to their children as “7-foot toddlers.”
That picture of unity was shattered over the weekend when Caroline publicly accused Sean of leaving the family shortly after she confronted him about alleged affairs. The timing, just a week after Mother’s Day, added fuel to the emotional fallout.

The San Francisco Giants acknowledged the allegations in a statement, saying, “We are aware of these serious allegations. We have been in contact with MLB. These type of allegations fall under their jurisdiction and we won’t be commenting further.” As of now, Sean Hjelle has not responded publicly.
According to the Daily Mail, Major League Baseball confirmed it is aware of the social media post and is reviewing the matter. Caroline has yet to provide additional comment.
Meanwhile, fans flooded Caroline’s TikTok with support. One follower wrote, “Let’s normalize calling cheaters out regardless of who they are — I’m so sorry.”
Another advised, “Be the first to file girlfriend… It was hard but worth it.”
Hjelle, a Minnesota native and 2018 Giants draft pick, has posted a 4.66 ERA this season. His latest outing included a 420-foot homer to Boston’s Ceddanne Rafaela. MLB has not yet commented on the ongoing investigation.
