The Dodgers squad boarded their flight to Japan, and Tanaka made a classy move for all the Dodgers player’s wives and girlfriends. “Dear Ladies, I wish I could be joining you on this incredible journey to Japan. While I won’t be there physically, my heart is definitely with you all. I hope you have an amazing time and immerse yourselves in all the culture, food, and experiences that make Japan so special,” Mamiko Tanaka wrote.
Mamiko wanted to ensure that the ladies felt welcomed in Japan.

Many expected Tanaka to be present to watch Shohei Ohtani play. However, it turns out that she will not be there to support him. Tanaka did not specify her reason for not joining others on the trip. Ohtani and Tanaka are expecting their first child, and she’s probably not wanting to travel.
