The New York Yankees suffered a humiliating defeat this season after surrendering 21 hits. The defense gave up 18 runs, and the worst part is that they came from the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Yanks were miserable with their performance, and the Dodgers proved to be the better team.
Aaron Judge had a double-homer game, and the offense only scored two runs. Judge was the only player to deliver offensively. Fans are frustrated with their loss, and many have started to doubt their ability to make it to the World Series. Fans immediately took to social media to troll the team for their loss. Some Mets fans joined the Dodgers to troll the Yankees.

New York Yankees’ Pitching Problems Continue To Persist

The Yanks have multiple issues going on with their pitching, and Will Warren was a disaster. Warren surrendered four runs in the first inning and three in the second. Aaron Boone had to take him out, and Brent Headrick couldn’t keep the Dodgers down.
Mark Lieter Jr. and Luke Weaver surrendered back-to-back home runs. The absence of Gerrit Cole and Luis Gil has cost the team, and they must address their pitching issues soon. The Yankees will make the playoffs, but making it to the World Series is pretty hard.
Even if they do, it’s not going to be easy unless they bring in another strong pitcher. Fans were upset with Max Fried’s outing in Game 1. Ryan Yarbrough will get the ball in Game 2.
