We know there’s a reason why the Chicago White Sox have Will Venable as the manager. And now we see that very thing clearly.
The White Sox are fighting tooth and nail against the Texas Rangers, and Venable is letting everybody know he’s in a win-now mode.
During today’s game against the Rangers, an agitated Venable was ejected in the first inning.
With so much so happening on the mound, the Chicago manager went on to argue non-stop with the umpire.

However, despite some would not agree, his reaction was pure and expected. The White Sox hired Will two years ago after a dreadful 121-loss season.
And if he has to turn the fate around for the franchise, we can forgo a little extra enthusiasm on the ground.

Chicago White Sox Fell Flat Despite Maximum Efforts Against Texas Rangers

While Venable’s emotions came unapologetic during the White Sox’s game today, he had a bitter taste from the June 14 game.
During the hard-fought battle against the Rangers on Saturday, the White Sox fell short in an extra-inning thriller, losing 5-4 in 11 innings.
The White Sox employed a bullpen day strategy, with rookie right-hander Mike Vasil making the start. Vasil delivered an impressive performance and completed four scoreless innings while allowing only two hits, four walks, and striking out four batters.

The scoring began in the fourth inning when Chicago took the lead. Chase Meidroth opened with a single and advanced to third following a double from Miguel Vargas. Kyle Teel then hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Meidroth.
Luis Robert Jr. extended the lead to 2-0 with a single that brought Vargas home.
However, the Rangers quickly countered. Josh Smith and Corey Seager hit back-to-back doubles in the fifth inning, cutting the margin to one run. The following innings saw the Rangers gain the lead in the seventh with a combination of hitting and a wild pitch, making the score 3-2 in their favor.
