Fenway Park has seen its fair share of unforgettable moments, but Saturday brought one of the most bizarre, and hilarious fan celebrations in recent memory.
After Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran launched a solo homer to lead off the bottom of the first inning against the Orioles, the cameras caught a fan going absolutely wild in the stands. But it wasn’t your typical high-five or beer splash moment. This fan, dressed in an Indianapolis 500 T-shirt, grabbed a jug of milk and poured it over his head.
What was that?! 😂

The nod was clearly to the Indy 500 tradition where race winners celebrate with a bottle of milk. Only this time, it happened in a baseball stadium. And social media went crazy over it.
While Duran’s blast and Devers’ heroics were big, the milk moment might go down as the night’s most viral highlight. The clip of the fan soaking himself in dairy soon went viral across platforms, and even the game’s announcers couldn’t stop laughing.
Duran Delivers, Sox Walk It Off

Duran’s homer cut Baltimore’s early lead to 2-1 and lit a spark for Boston’s offense. The Red Sox would go on to edge the Orioles in a 6-5 thriller, winning it in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the 10th.
