Walker Buehler and the Boston Red Sox are coming off a decisive win against the Mets. However, their victory was overshadowed by a fiery confrontation involving Buehler, Francisco Lindor, and home plate umpire Mike Estabrook.
It all started when Buehler hit Francisco Lindor with a pitch. The Mets slugger stole second base after getting hit, and Juan Soto stepped up to the plate. Buehler recorded a strikeout, but Estabrook called a ball. The Red Sox star was frustrated and started to argue with the umpire. While Estabrook warned Walker Buehler to get back on the mound, things escalated quickly, and he got ejected along with manager Alex Cora.

While all the drama occurred, it turns out that Francisco Lindor was rooting for Buehler’s ejection. After the game, Sports Commentator Jordan Moore called out Lindor, screaming and rooting for Buehler’s ejection. Buehler reposted Moore’s post on X and hit back at Lindor with an explosive message.
“I wouldn’t want me out there either. Sad thing is the BULLPEN is full of fucking animals. Tough choice,” Walker Buehler wrote.

It’s natural for the pitcher to be upset since the call was undoubtedly wrong. The video clearly shows Buehler’s strike.

Walker Buehler Gets Ejected For The First Time Since 2021
Buehler has not been ejected in a long time and never argues unless he feels right. Sadly, he had to leave the game after returning from the injured list. The Red Sox pitcher was upset and lashed out at the umpire.
Alex Cora stepped in to defend Buehler, but he was forced to leave. Cora said he was begging the umpire to throw him out instead of Buehler.
“You know, I was just begging, just give me a break. You know, like I’ll go out and you can throw me out, we’ll keep the pitcher in the game. But I guess he had enough,” Cora said.
