Julio Rodriguez Continues To Play A Vital Role For The Mariners

Rodriguez continues to play a vital role in his team. Seattle cannot afford to have a center fielder placed on the IL. The Mariners are at the top of the AL West with a 30-25 record. The team is only 0.5 games ahead of the Houston Astros.
Seattle hopes to make the playoffs, but the American League has several tough opponents. Rodriguez has 10 home runs and is hitting .235 at the plate. He has a .310 OBP with a .726 OPS. He had a decent 2024 season with 20 home runs and 24 stolen bases.
Julio Rodriguez is already off to a strong start, and he’s expected to have a 30-30 season in 2025. The Mariners still have room for improvement. They have improved their week 9 MLB power ranking and are now sitting at No. 8.
