The New York Yankees and Oswaldo Cabrera were having a great game against the Seattle Mariners when things turned into a disaster. The Yankees had a 10-5 lead against the Mariners at the top of the ninth inning.
Yankees captain Aaron Judge stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded and hit a sacrifice fly. Cabrera ran from third base to reach home when he slipped and fell. The third baseman managed to evade Cal Raleigh’s tag and reached out to place his hand on the plate. While he scored successfully, giving the Yanks their 11th run, he struggled with pain.
Despite all the struggle and pain, Cabrera extended his hand to give his team the run. Cabrera’s run was the last for the Yankees as they won the game with an 11-5 final score.

Cabrera had an awkward slide while reaching home. The third baseman never attempted to slide home as he overran the bag, which made things worse. After placing his hand on the plate, he was seen struggling with severe pain.
Oswaldo Cabrera was forced to get off the field as he was taken off in an ambulance. The slugger was on the ground, lying on his stomach, as he could not move. Yankees’ training staff rushed to the spot, while a cart came out to the field at T-Mobile Park. Unfortunately, the cart was sent back as the ambulance came in.
