Teoscar Hernandez and the Los Angeles Dodgers were up against the Miami Marlins at LoanDepot Park. The Dodgers had a great game as they defeated the Marlins with a 7-4 final score. However, Hernandez was forced to exit the game after struggling with an injury.
The slugger experienced hamstring tightness during the bottom of the third inning. It’s pretty unlikely for a player like Hernandez to exit the game unless it’s pretty serious.

Dodgers manager, Dave Roberts mentioned that it’s unlikely for Hernandez to go out without any reason and it’s pretty concerning for the team.
“I got word that it was tight — whether it was a hamstring, abductor. He’s a guy who just doesn’t come out of games by way of injury. That’s a little concerning, given the person,” Dave Roberts said via ESPN.
Teoscar Hernandez’s exit comes at a crucial moment, but the Dodgers have several stars to fill in. Hernandez smashed nine home runs in 130 at-bats. He has 41 hits and 34 RBIs. The slugger is slashing .315/.333/.933 at the plate.
Hernandez is one of the few sluggers to be consistent at the plate. Hernandez’s injury was not the first, as Cincinnati Reds slugger Tyler Callihan broke his arm while running into the wall.
