During the game, Judge had an unforgettable incident with a fan in the sixth inning that led to a critical umpire review. Guardians’ center fielder Angel Martinez hit a fly ball drifting into foul territory down the right field line.
The Yankees’ captain tracked the ball all the way to the wall and appeared ready to make the catch. However, just as the ball was about to land in his glove, a fan reached out and interfered by getting his hands in the way.

Aaron Judge made a strong effort to secure the ball despite the interference but ultimately bobbled it, and the ball fell to the ground. Initially, the umpires called the ball foul, but the Yankees promptly challenged the call on the grounds of fan interference. After the review, the call was overturned, and Martinez was out.
It was a crucial call for the Yankees, which helped them eventually win the game. As for the fan, there were no reports of him being removed from the game.
