The entire MLB world knows Alex Rodriguez’s worst moment in the big leagues. The man was a great hitter, but his involvement with PEDs is held against him till today. Rodriguez is still trying to get into the Baseball Hall of Fame. However, his bad run and suspension are not forgotten.
Sadly, his excellent performance was overshadowed by one wrong decision. While it doesn’t happen all the time, many associate A-Rod with PEDs. The former Yankees star had a nightmare when he was suspended for 211 games.
The league suspended Alex Rodriguez along with 13 other players throughout the 2014 MLB season. A dozen players accepted a 50-game suspension without pay, but A-Rod was adamant to appeal. He said he had no other option but to defend himself since he was fighting for his life.
“I’m fighting for my life. I have to defend myself. If I don’t defend myself, no one else will. It “has been probably the worst time of my life for sure. Obviously, for the circumstances that are at hand and also dealing with a very tough surgery and a rehab program, and being 38. “I think we’ll have a forum to discuss all of that, and we’ll talk about it then,” Alex Rodriguez said via CNN.
