Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr. recently hit the headlines for his deleted controversial post. In it, Acuna directly jibed at Braves manager Brian Snitker and Jarred Kelenic for his recent performance.
During the Twins vs. Braves game, Kelenic smashed a ball to the wall and slowly jogged around the bases. He was tagged out when he realized he couldn’t make it to second base. The Braves went on to win the game against the Twins, but Acuna was unhappy with Brian Snitker’s lethargic response.
Why Did Ronald Acuna Jr. Call Out Brian Snitker?

In a postgame interview, Snitker was asked if he said anything to Kelenic about his slow trot. His response triggered Acuna to take a shot on social media.
“Did I say anything to him? Just, ‘Way to swing the bat.’ Was I supposed to?” Snitker said via MLB.
Ronald Acuna Jr. later posted on social media that he would have been pulled from the game if it had been him. The slugger later deleted the post on X.
It dates back to the 2019 NL Division series, when the Braves were up against the Dodgers, and Acuna was pulled out of the game for doing the same thing Jarred Kelenic did against the Twins. Acuna cranked one deep, which he thought would be a home run. The slugger started to trot slowly against the Dodgers, but later, he realized it had come off the wall. Brian Snitker immediately benched Acuna for his actions.

The Braves star was not pleased that Snitker never did the same for Jarred Kelenic. Hence, the reason for his post on social media. While things started to get heated up, Acuna deleted his post.
Brian Snitker Reacts To Ronald Acuna Jr.’s Deleted Post

Snitker learned about Acuna’s post on X while strolling in the dugout. Acuna, who’s set to return to the Braves lineup, was not with the team. Snitker initially thought it was a rumor, but later knew what Acuna posted.
“I heard about it as I was walking to the dugout. Heard something was up. I came in and they said it was down. I haven’t talked to him, so I don’t know,” Snitker said via MLB.
Ronald Acuna Jr. is the face of the Braves franchise. He was indeed upset with Snitker’s call. However, things seem to have calmed down at the moment. Acuna probably felt a biased decision with Kelenic, and many fans agreed with Acuna for being annoyed. Acuna has made progress on his injury and is expected to return soon.
