There are a couple of New York Yankees stars who could have a chance at WWE as their second career.
Recently, WWE superstar Damian Priest shared his fun perspective on which Yankees players might make great professional wrestlers. And needless to say his picks are pretty exciting.
He named Yankees captain Aaron Judge and powerhouse Giancarlo Stanton as two players with the perfect physique and persona for the wrestling ring.
“Right now, Aaron Judge is the easy answer. He’s 6-foot-7, he’s a stud, and the persona is great. He’d fit right in. I’d also pick Stanton. That man’s a powerhouse,” Priest said.
Priest, who stands tall at 6 feet 7 inches, pointed out that Judge has the size and charisma to shine in wrestling.
As a Bronx native, Priest has always been a huge Yankees fan. He fondly remembers watching the team during the Don Mattingly era. He’s been attending games since he was a kid, which makes his comments all the more special.
