The Tampa Bay Rays are not having a great run in the competitive AL East division. But Yandy Diaz seems to be having a good time rocking his custom cleats. The Rays are at the bottom of the division with an 8-12 record. To make things worse, they don’t have their own stadium this season.
The Yankees’ George Steinbrenner Field will be their home stadium for the 2025 season. The Rays are riding a four-game losing streak, but that doesn’t stop Diaz from showcasing his beautiful custom-made cleats. In their last game against the Yankees, Diaz sported a unique and glittering pair of cleats that grabbed everyone’s attention.

Yandy Diaz’s Unique Cleats Are Limited To Just 44 Pairs
Diaz’s cleats are certainly unique since there are reportedly only 44 pairs worldwide. Seattle Mariners star Julio Rodriguez also wore the custom Adidas Adizero Impact+ Swarovski Cleat.
This unique pair costs $440 USD. According to Sneaker Freaker, the Warp Speed version of the Adizero Impact cleat is equipped with Lightstrike Pro cushioning and metal cleats for the turf.
Yandy Diaz is one of the few who own these cleats. The Rays slugger has a batting line of .207/.250/.604 with three home runs in 82 at-bats. Diaz has six RBIs and 17 hits. The Rays lost against the Yankees with a 1-0 final score. The Yanks are just the opposite, as they sit at the top of the AL East. Several injured Yankees players are poised to return soon.
