As long as Juan Soto is a New York Met, Yankees fans will not stop trolling their crosstown rival. Since Soto’s departure, there’s been plenty of tension between both teams. They continue to troll each other when the opportunity arises.
Last night, Soto thought he smashed his first home run at City Field, but it turned out to be a foul ball. Sadly, the umpires’ decision was made after he trotted around the bases and reached home. The Mets were leading with a 2-0 score against the Phillies when Soto launched one deep to right field.
Citi Field heard a huge roar as the entire stadium stood up. However, the play was ruled a foul, and Soto had to return to the plate. Yankees fans took this opportunity to troll Mets fans as they came up with hilarious responses on social media.
“LMAOOOOO Shiti Field thought this was a home run,” one fan wrote.

“How is that a homerun when you can clearly see it curve foul… probably taught it hit the foul pole… but man do this people need glasses,” another fan replied.

Yankees Struggle To Secure A Win As Clarke Schmidt Falls To The Guardians

The Bronx Bombers had a bad start to their series against the Cleveland Guardians. Clarke Schmidt struggled on the mound in a bad outing. The pitcher tossed four innings and surrendered five earned runs after walking three opponent hitters.
Schmidt struck out seven, but he failed to control the ball. The biggest damage came from Jose Ramirez, who had a three-run home run at the bottom of the third inning. Kyle Manzardo went deep with a solo home run.
The Yankees fought back as Jasson Dominguez smashed a two-run homer and Jazz Chisholm recorded another two-run blast. However, it was too late to get back as the Guardians triumphed. The Yankees are now in fourth place in the Week 4 MLB power rankings.
