Marcus Stroman has been a disaster for the New York Yankees this season. The Yankees’ pitching squad is hurt the most, and Stroman was unable to help. The Yanks sidelined the pitcher last season and used him as a reliever from the bullpen. However, Stro said he is not a bullpen pitcher and refused to pitch.
The Franchise gave him an opportunity to pitch on the starting rotation, but his disaster continued, and his last start against the Giants was the worst. Stroman surrendered five runs, including a three-run homer, in just 0.2 innings pitched. In his last three starts, Marcus Stroman has a miserable 11.57 ERA.
After his disastrous outing, Storman is set to undergo testing on his left knee. Yankees fans were in disbelief, and they took to social media to call out the pitcher. Here are some fan reactions from X.

Marcus Stroman’s Future With The Yankees Seems Unclear

The Yankees have three top pitchers placed on the IL. Clarke Schmidt will return soon while Luis Gil is expected to come back later. The Yankees ace Gerrit Cole will only return in 2026. Stroman’s future with the Yanks seems unclear with his dwindling performance.
The Yanks will not have room for the pitcher once their starting rotation is back. That said, they might consider placing him on the trade block. This might be the last year for Marcus Stroman in the Bronx unless he picks up the pace and delivers for the rest of the season. Apart from Stroman, Carlos Rodon was called out for his recent slump against the Detroit Tigers.
