The New York Yankees are on a great run this MLB season. They hold the second-best record in the American League. The Yanks are at the top of their division with a 28-19 record and are coming off a win against the Rangers.
Despite their injured bullpen, the Bronx Bombers have been holding on successfully. The bullpen has shown improvement while the starting rotation has stepped up. Will Warren has been outstanding in his last couple of starts, and good things are coming for fans.
Recently, Aaron Boone shared the latest update on returning sluggers Giancarlo Stanton and Jazz Chisholm Jr. The Yankees are getting reinforcements, and things will only improve before the All-Star break.
“Checking in on Giancarlo Stanton: Is nearing the “end game” of his running program, Aaron Boone said. Stanton has continued to run on the field and has hit “a lot of volume” off a high-velocity machine,” MLB reporter Bryan Hock posted on social media.

“Checking in on Jazz Chisholm Jr.: Could resume hitting off velocity in the next few days, Aaron Boone said. Chisholm is asymptomatic. Boone added that Chisholm may need to play in one or two Minor League games on rehab,” Hock wrote about Chisholm.

The Yankees journalist has spoken to Boone for an update on Stanton and Chisholm. Both sluggers are progressing and are expected to return soon.
Giancarlo Stanton’s Return May Complicate Ben Rice’s Spot On The Yankees Lineup

Ben Rice took over Giancarlo Stanton’s spot, and he’s been doing a fantastic job. Rice has hit 10 home runs already; his average is .259, with a .352 OBP and a .904 OPS. Rice has been the perfect fit this season to pick up Stanton’s role.
The slugger emerged as a huge fan favorite, but Stanton’s return may complicate Rice’s spot in the lineup. The Yankees also have Jasson Dominguez in the lineup, and Rice’s position might be questionable. The Yanks will certainly make room for Stanton, who’s been a veteran player for the team.
The Yanks are ranked at No. 7 in the week 8 MLB power rankings. Chisholm and Stanton’s return will make things better for the team.
