Alexander Volkanovski is already closing in on his next opponent. After losing his featherweight title to Ilia Topuria, Volkanovski faced a lot of questions. However, immediately in his next fight against Diego Lopes, Volkanovski answered back all his critics. Putting up a stellar show, ‘Volk’ outmatched Lopes, regaining his title once again. Now, after being back on the top of the division, rumors of who will be his next opponent are doing the rounds. And one name, Yair Rodriguez, is almost certain to be popping up.
The name of Yair Rodriguez has been heavily rumored to be ‘Volk’s next fight. And although nothing has been officially confirmed by the UFC, the news has been spreading like wild fire. Breaking the silence on the same, Volkanovski admitted that those rumors were indeed true. There have been talks about a possible rematch with Rodriguez.
