Belal Muhammad has continued to troll Leon Edwards. After losing the UFC welterweight title to Muhammad, Edwards has been constantly giving explanations. Edwards initially said that he was injured during his championship fight and thus could not give his all. Next, the former champion also said that he underestimated Muhammad too much. However, Edwards was convinced that he was the number one contender for the welterweight crown. Unfortunately, things turned pretty sour for Leon Edwards.
Headlining the main event of UFC London, Edwards went up against Sean Brady. Right from the first round, Edwards dominated. Displaying some incredible ground control, Brady looked impeccable. And as he submitted Edwards by the fourth round, Belal Muhammad once again went off on the former champion.
“What time is it in London. asking for Leon… Don’t let him bully you son,” Muhammad stated.

Surely, after the fight, Edwards will be pretty distant from the current welterweight title bout. However, Leon Edwards threw some significant shade at Muhammad just before the fight.

Edwards knows why his fight with Belal Muhammad was considered ‘boring.’ According to Edwards, it was due to Muhammad. Ahead of his Sean Brady fight, Edwards opined that Muhammad’s fighting style is pretty much in contrast to his big talks.

Edwards said in their pre-fight presser, “One more minute of that fight, he would’ve got stopped… He talks like he’s Mike Tyson, but when he fights, he’s not.”

Thus, it is evident that things have gone downhill with Leon Edwards. Now, it remains to be seen whether he can get back up or not.
