Conor McGregor seems to be finally back in the fighting game! Well, not in the UFC, but in the BKFC as of now. With an extremely long layoff, ‘The Notorious’ has been missing in action for quite some time now. While there have been teases about his return to the octagon, the Irish superstar is yet to show up. Now, in a recent press conference, McGregor has confirmed that he will be fighting in the BKFC for sure in the future.
Speaking about his fighting return, McGregor opined that the ‘fighter spirit’ within him is very much alive still. And while he leads the young fighters into battle, McGregor himself will also be a part of the action.
“Conor McGregor will fight in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Mark my words,” said the former UFC double champ.

Surely, McGregor’s aura is something that attracts the finances. It happened with the UFC and now, BKFC is trying to follow the same formula. Thus, speaking about McGregor’s involvement in the promotion, Dave Feldman had a surprising answer.
Dave Feldman Reveals Why Conor McGregor Was Roped Into BKFC
Conor McGregor has been creating viral moments all throughout his career. After all, who can forget his 13-second knockout of Jose Aldo or his infamous rivalry with Khabib Nurmagomedov? Thus, looking at his past records, Dave Feldman thought it would be a good idea to have a personality like Conor McGregor get into the BKFC.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani, Feldman opined, “We brought him in to get in the middle of the fighters. Brought him in to talk. We brought him in to create viral moments, and that’s what he does. I don’t need to be the center of attention. Let him do that because he does a lot better job than I do.”
