Margaret’s dress also features bones with patches of leopard print.
UFC star McGregor posted a series of pictures with his loved ones on Monday that showed him donning a clean-shaven look as he dressed up as pilot Frank Abagnale from the film Catch Me If You Can.
One person fumed: “Did Conor McGregor really post his mother in black face.”
Mama McGregor, along with Conor’s representatives told The Mirror: “The McGregor family loves Halloween. Mrs. McGregor had spiders painted on her face since her costume was a ghoul risen from the grave.
‘Any other interpretation was just wrong and truly unfortunate.’
Blackface is considered highly offensive and racist as it is used to mock African American people while caricaturing dark-skinned people in an unfavorable way.
The MMA fighter has in the Dominican Republic in recent weeks where he is filming the remake of the 1980s classic film Roadhouse.
McGregor has plans on making his UFC comeback in ‘the first quarter of 2023.’
