
Conor McGregor returning to the UFC anytime soon is quite unexpected. After repeated failed comeback attempts, the McGregor effect has diminished significantly. However, with the Irishman, one just cannot make a prediction. And just as ‘The Notorious’ seemed to be away from fighting, he dropped a bombshell. The former two-division champion is looking to make a return at the White House.
McGregor recently reflected on how a possible return to fighting can be orchestrated. His top preference was appearing at the UFC’s White House event. Taking to social media, McGregor stated that a fight at the White House would be an “interesting offer.” ‘Mystique Mac’ also doubled down, saying that this would motivate him enough to make a planned comeback.
“To return at the White House with my sniper accuracy would be a very intriguing offer and would bring me back in to focus on my return correctly,” said McGregor.

Surely, such an announcement from McGregor is bound to draw attention. In the recent past, McGregor has been involved with quite a lot of things. Recently, ‘The Notorious’ visited the Oval Office and met with the POTUS. He also delivered a speech accusing the Irish government of mistreating its people. Meanwhile, McGregor has been missing from the UFC since his ankle injury.

Conor McGregor entered into the trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier, hoping for a win. And while he failed to do so, something more grim happened. After a vicious leg kick, McGregor broke his ankle. And since then, it has been a long wait. In the meantime, multiple teases of a comeback surfaced. Initially, McGregor was supposed to clash in the TUF finale against Michel Chandler.

After much deliberation, Dana White announced his fight at UFC 303. Unfortunately, just days before the fight, McGregor withdrew, citing a broken toe. Thus, with many speculations coming in, what happens next remains to be seen.
