Lately, fans have seen Belal Muhammad actively engaging in social media trash talk with several UFC stars, including Ilia Topuria, Kamaru Usman, Sean Strickland, and more. However, a new name has now joined the list—Dricus Du Plessis. ‘Stillknocks’ took a shot at the welterweight champion, mocking him for claiming that 185lbs is the easiest division.
Muhammad has expressed interest in moving up a weight class. However, he was initially scheduled to defend his welterweight title against Shavkat Rakhmonov but had to withdraw due to injury. Recently, ‘StillKnocks’ dismissed the idea of Muhammad moving to middleweight, claiming the UFC wouldn’t even allow it since they don’t seem to favor him. He criticized Muhammad for acting as if he has that option despite not having defended his title yet. In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, the middleweight champion said,
“I like how [Belal Muhammad] acts as if he has a choice to ever go up to 185. The UFC will never let him… The UFC doesn’t even like Belal Muhammad. So what makes him think that? He hasn’t even defended his belt once. He’s definitely better on Twitter than he is in fights. [A fight with Belal] would be unfair. Have you seen the size of the man? He’s the smallest… I couldn’t believe that he’s a 170 when I saw him.”

‘Remember the Name’ has yet to defend his welterweight title, leaving fans eagerly awaiting his next fight. Many expect Shavkat Rakhmonov to be the next challenger for the belt.
Khamzat Chimaev Criticizes Strickland vs. Du Plessis Fight
Khamzat Chimaev didn’t hold back his criticism after watching Dricus Du Plessis dominate Sean Strickland in their UFC 312 rematch. From home, ‘Borz’ was unimpressed as Du Plessis shattered Strickland’s nose and cruised to a unanimous decision win (50-45, 50-45, 49-46) at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. Taking to X—formerly Twitter—Chimaev slammed the fight, calling it the “biggest bulls**t fight.”

Despite the five-round battle, the bout lacked excitement until the injury, leaving many fans underwhelmed. However, UFC President Dana White has already confirmed Chimaev as the next title challenger. With tensions brewing between ‘Borz’ and Strickland, anticipation is growing for Chimaev’s long-awaited shot at UFC gold.
