It is a gloomy day for all the UFC fans. UFC legend and a former champion, Cain Velasquez has been sentenced to five years of imprisonment. Following charges of attempted murder and many more charges, the case reached its conclusion after a deliberation of 3 years. The Superior Court Judge at Santa Clara County, Arthur Bocanegra, passed the verdict in a hearing at the Santa Clara County Hall of Justice in San Jose, California.
With a total of 10 felony charges, Velasquez’s case dates back to 2022. After coming to know about his then 4-year-old son being molested over 100 times at a daycare, the UFC fighter got enraged. Engaging in a high-octane car chase that lasted for 11 miles, Velasquez fired more than once at the accused, Harry Goularte’s car.
