Ilia Topuria has made his final roar before heading into UFC 317. After vacating the featherweight title, Topuria looks locked in to win a second belt in the promotion. There have been talks about him having difficulty adjusting to the bigger weight class. But despite the noise, Topuria seems to be oozing confidence. So much so that he sent Charles Oliveira a final warning.
In the pre-fight presser, ‘El Matador’ mentioned that he is en route to make history. Going up against ‘Du Bronx,’ Topuria promised his fans to deliver the ‘greatest performance of all time.’ Surely, if he can manage to knock out Oliveira, Topuria’s stocks in the UFC will skyrocket.

Surely, having Alexander Volkanovski, Max Holloway, and Charles Oliveira knocked out is a huge deal. However, despite his confidence, Topuria must be wary of Oliveira’s experience. His ability to adapt coupled with his deadly submission attempts is what can bother the ‘El Matador.’ Meanwhile, the Spaniard is already making plans about who his next opponent might be.

Ilia Topuria has always predicted the outcome of his previous fights. And while his previous couple of predictions came true, it remains to be seen what happens this time around. Topuria believes that Pimblett needs one more win to challenge him. However, for Gaethje, a direct shot at the title is what Topuria perceives. Surely, both the names are deserving contenders. Pimblett has had some dominant victories. Likewise, Gaethje’s comeback after the thundering UFC 300 KO was impressive. However, with Charles Oliveira waiting to reclaim the title, it remains to be seen how Topuria performs.
