Merab Dvalishvili has taken over the internet. In yet another dominant showing, the Georgian ensured that the UFC bantamweight title did not change hands. While his antics inside the octagon wowed the commentators, several UFC fighters, too, seemed utterly impressed with the current champion. And Israel Adesanya is definitely one of them.
Adesanya posted a reaction video of Dvalishvili fighting Sean O’Malley. Soon after watching the champion outclass O’Malley once again, Adesanya could not hold back his excitement. As Dvalishvili laid stress on working hard every day, ‘The Last Stylebender’ heaped praises on the Georgian.
“F*** he’s good. You gotta give it up man, he’s good. He’s just good, bro, so good,” said Adesanya.

Surely, Sean O’Malley knew that Dvalishvili would come for the takedown. And he did get his takedown defense a lot better than last time. However, what caught everyone off guard was the fact that Dvalishvili looked sharp while standing up to O’Malley and boxing him. Likewise, this was also the first instance when ‘The Machine’ finished an opponent via submission. And all of this was predicted beforehand by UFC middleweight star, Robert Whittaker.

Robert Whittaker already knew what was going to happen in UFC 316. Looking at how Dvalishvili has been dominating, Whittaker pointed out that Dvalishvili would once again successfully defend his title against ‘Suga.’ ‘The Reaper’ pointed out that while talking to the champion before the fight, Dvalishvili seemed to be locked in with razor-sharp focus.

“I did think in the first fight he got a bit carried away with showboating, taunting. He seemed locked in when I was speaking to him,” Whittaker said on the ‘MMArcade’ podcast.
Thus, with things looking quite bright for Merab Dvalishvili, it now remains to be seen what’s next for him.
