Joe Rogan, long known for his blunt takes on everything from drugs to politics, appears to be undergoing a serious change- this time, a spiritual one.
For years, the UFC commentator and podcast juggernaut openly identified as an atheist, often hosting high-profile skeptics on The Joe Rogan Experience to explore why he couldn’t quite buy into the idea of God.
But now, the famously curious host seems to be rethinking that stance. According to Wesley Huff, a Christian apologist who appeared on Rogan’s show months ago, Rogan is attending church regularly and staying in touch behind the scenes.
“Joe Rogan and I have had on-and-off communication since then,” Huff shared during a recent episode of his The Living Waters podcast. “I can tell you for a fact that he is attending a church, and that has been a consistent thing.”
Rogan’s Shift Sparks Reactions Online

This development didn’t go unnoticed online. Social media lit up with reactions from fans and followers, many expressing cautious optimism.

Huff, however, felt the need to clear up a few things. After Fox News reported on Rogan’s supposed transformation, Huff called them out for misattributing statements. “Hey @FoxNews your article on this attributes things to me that I did not say and also conflates statements to me that were actually said by my colleagues at @ApologeticsCA,” Huff wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “I’d encourage you to do a little bit better in your reporting with actually getting who said what correct.”

Though Rogan hasn’t made any public declarations, those close to him suggest his mindset is shifting. Known for hosting guests with wildly differing beliefs, from Richard Dawkins to pastors and mystics, Rogan seems open to exploring faith more seriously now. Whether that leads to more spiritual figures on his podcast or just quiet Sundays in the pews remains to be seen.
Either way, one thing’s sure that Joe Rogan is on a new journey that might include more than a few conversations with God.
