Fans have grown increasingly frustrated over the lack of updates regarding a potential Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall fight. Some have even started a petition to strip Jones of the heavyweight title, accusing him of stalling the division. However, ‘Bones’ has now responded, saying he’d be willing to fight Aspinall—but only under one hilarious condition: if Aspinall shows up to his boxing event.
Jones was recently seen at the ceremonial weigh-ins for DXB 2, where fans asked ‘Bones’ about his next fight. Instead of giving a serious answer, he used the opportunity to promote the Dirty Boxing Championship event happening tomorrow night in Miami.
When asked if he’d face Francis Ngannou or Tom Aspinall, the heavyweight champ jokingly replied, “Whoever comes to Dirty Boxing.” One fan followed up, asking if he’d fight the Englishman if he showed up to DXB. Jones simply responded, “Yes.”

“Every human on earth DMing it to me, yeah I saw it. How many fans there are worldwide, now what’s the number? It’s like 400 million or something like that. 130,000 people want to see him stripped. It’s kinda fu*king silly,” White said.
He also revealed that the UFC had already offered Jones a contract to fight Aspinall—and that Jones accepted. White urged fans to stay patient, hinting that an official announcement could be on the horizon.
