Nate Diaz has been out of action from the UFC for a long time now. However, in recent times, the Stockton native has expressed a significant desire to come back inside the UFC ring once again. Despite his teasing, nothing confirmed has been announced until now. But in a recent statement, Diaz made some interesting comments about who he wanted to face next.
After spending almost three years away from the sport, Diaz is desperate to get into the groove again. And for his first opponent, he seemingly has taken a liking towards Belal Muhammad. Muhammad had been the welterweight champion, having beaten Leon Edwards. However, now that he has lost his belt, Diaz wants to run it down with Muhammad.
“I don’t know [Jack Della Maddalena]. S***, I’ll fight Belal’s ass. I think I’d beat the s*** out of Belal Muhammad,” Diaz said in a recent video.

Nothing is official as of now. The UFC has still not announced Diaz’s addition to its roster. Thus, while the Stockton native is looking to fight Muhammad, the probability looks distant at the moment. Meanwhile, while shooting a reality show in Thailand, Nate Diaz got himself into a bit of a situation.
