Sean O’Malley is making some bold predictions about his peers recently. While ‘Suga’ will be looking to get his title back from Merab Dvalishvili, he is also keeping a close eye on the proceedings in the division. Likewise, O’Malley has recently commented about a probable future matchup for Umar Nurmagomedov.
Now, Umar Nurmagomedov has been a dominant and undefeated fighter. However, after his loss to Dvalishvili, Nurmagomedov will need to regroup again. And Sean O’Malley seemingly has a perfect opponent in mind.
Well, it is none other than Petr Yan. According to O’Malley, Yan is one of the most dangerous fighters in the division, and a matchup with Nurmagomedov would be a banger.
“I mean, that makes sense. Petr vs Umar, that’d be such a sick fight. Dude, 5 rounds… Petr skill for skill is still in my mind one of the pound-for-pound top 10 guys in the UFC. He’s a bad motherf***er,” said O’Malley.
