In a recent interaction with ‘ESPNMMA,’ Aspinall explained why both the situations were different. According to Aspinall, Chandler was waiting for a single person to fight. But with Aspinall, it’s not about Jon Jones alone. He wants to be the undisputed heavyweight champion no matter who he faces. Aspinall also pointed out that in order to reach his goal, he is ready to fight anyone and everyone.
“I’ve seen a lot of people comparing me to Michael Chandler. [He] waited a long time for Conor McGregor… I’m not waiting for one fight. I’m not trying to fight one guy. I’m trying to fight ALL the guys. I’m trying to be THE guy at heavyweight who takes out everybody,” said Aspinall.

Aspinall also name-dropped a host of heavyweight fighters like Ciryl Gane, Volkov rematch, Almeida, Derrick Lewis, Brock Lesnar. Surprisingly, he stated that he is ready to fight all of them. Meanwhile, speaking about the fight, Jon Jones recently shared a big update.

Jon Jones recently stated that there might be news regarding the fight with Tom Aspinall. While the fans have been waiting eagerly for the fight to happen, nothing conclusive has been announced yet.
