In a recent interview, the UFC star explained that maybe, they could have a WWE tag team match. Aspinall would be partnered with Cody Rhodes, while Jon Jones would have John Cena on his side. This was a reference to the ongoing storyline of how John Cena turned heel by betraying Cody Rhodes in the back in WWE.
“Cody Rhodes, Tom Aspinall versus Jon Jones and John Cena. Baby faces versus heels,” said Aspinall.

In a recent statement, Jon Jones wanted to take six months to prepare for the fight. And this is something that instantly started to ring warning bells in the minds of Ariel Helwani.
