The UEFA Champions League just drew to a close, and it was a spectacle. Well, not for the Inter Milan fans, though! Fighting for the coveted silverware, Paris Saint-Germain thrashed the Italian club to pick up a 5-0 victory in the UCL final. And while the atmosphere was electric in Allianz Arena, a separate tension was brewing between Khabib Nurmagomedov and IShowSpeed.
Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev were invited as special guests to the final. While the Dagestani legend interacted with the presenters, social media sensation IShowSpeed chimed in with his unique style. As Khabib pointed out how he had played football in his childhood, Speed stated that he was unimpressed by his skills. The YouTuber also termed his own sets of skills better than Khabib’s.
“Khabib I’ve seen a clip of you playing football, it wasn’t the best. I’m gonna be honest, my skill level is better,” said Speed.
But Speed’s over-enthusiasm did not seem to sit well with Nurmagomedov. In a lighthearted exchange, ‘The Eagle’ jokingly threatened to pick up a fight with Speed.
“Don’t forget between us there’s nobody right now. You’re in my world right now.” said Nurmagomedov.

Surely, this was yet another celebrity interaction added to Speed’s crown. In recent times, Speed has shown up in several high profile events like the WWE pay per views and more. He has even had a race against the Olympic 100m gold medalist, Noah Lyles. Meanwhile, as Khabib is busy coaching the young guns, Daniel Cormier stated that the Dagestani retired too early.

Daniel Cormier Makes Surprising Claim Of How Khabib Nurmagomedov Would Still Have Been Relative

Khabib Nurmagomedov did retire early. After only 29 fights, the Russian star decided to hang up his fighting gloves. With his mentor and father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, passing away, the Dagestani did not want to continue his UFC career. Now, opining on the same, Daniel Cormier stated that Nurmagomedov retired way too early. He also justified why he could have been successful if he would have played now.
“Way too soon. I thought Khabib could have been fighting today, and there’s a chance. Because Islam is a bit of an extension of who he was. But to know them is to know that when his dad passed, it took a lot away from him,”said Cormier.
