Dana White isn’t just sending fighters to sleep in the UFC octagon. These days, he’s also knocking cowboys off bulls.
The UFC President has taken his love for adrenaline a step further with a wild new side hustle- Professional Bull Riders. And at the center of his latest obsession stands a five-year-old powerhouse named Playmate.
“He’s a bad boy,” White said on TMZ Sports with a grin. And he means it. Last week, Playmate didn’t even let the action reach the arena floor. “They never made it out of the stall,” White explained. “He knocked the rider out before they even got out.”
The way he tells it, that kind of chaos is exactly what he’s looking for.
Championship Bloodline Meets Raw Power

Playmate’s not just another bull in the chute. He’s only been ridden successfully once in 11 tries, and that kind of track record gets attention fast in the PBR world.

The bull carries elite bloodlines, too. His father is SweetPro’s Bruiser, a three-time PBR World Champion. So it’s no fluke that Playmate’s leaving riders in the dirt.

White didn’t stumble into bull riding by accident. His introduction came back in 2015 while filming Lookin’ for a Fight. He rode a bull himself and caught the bug right there. “I totally got into it,” he said. “I love it. It’s fun for me. I’m into it!” That interest has evolved into serious involvement, with Playmate now part of the elite 130-bull lineup heading into the PBR World Finals in Texas.
Set for next week at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the World Finals will showcase the fiercest bulls on the planet- and Playmate’s name is firmly in that conversation. White isn’t shy about his preferences. “I like mean, nasty, violent bulls,” he said. “He is definitely one of them.”
Bull riding might seem like a leap from MMA, but White doesn’t see much of a difference. Whether it’s the Octagon or the arena, he’s drawn to the edge, where chaos meets competition. With Playmate tearing it up in the chutes, don’t expect him to step away anytime soon.
