This is just frightening.
On Thursday, a small plane carrying Dale Earnhardt Jr., his wife and 1-year-old daughter ran off the runway and caught fire at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport in Tennessee.
Thankfully, not a single person was killed in the terrible accident on top of there being zero serious injuries beyond simple cuts and abrasions.
Earnhardt Jr., however, was transported to Johnson City Medical Center where he was said to be conscious and talking.

Earnhardt Jr. is scheduled to drive in the Xfinity Series race at Darlington Raceway on Aug. 31.
