When you need to go, you need to go, something Conor Daly found out at the worst possible time.
Daly, who finished in eighth place at the Indianapolis 500 this year, had car trouble during the second half of the race and also had some problems with nature as he peed himself and had to sit in his urine until he finished.
The Indy 500 takes around three hours to complete as participants are required to go 200 laps. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that a driver would have to get all their bathroom movements out of the way before beginning the race.
Conor Daly Peed Himself In “The Best Car” He’d Ever Been In

Sadly, one trip to the restroom for a No. 1 might not be enough for a three-hour race, especially if you’ve got a weak bladder, so it’s really out of a driver’s control unless they go all out to ensure that they don’t need to urinate by cutting off liquids hours prior or using supplements that retain water.
Conor Daly did none of that and, thanks to a near-45-minute delay due to thunderstorms, he peed himself before the race even began.
“There’s been a lot of toilet talk about maybe some using of the bathroom, because we had to wait a long time before the race, right? Never in my life have I urinated in my race car until Sunday,” he said at a banquet held after the event.

He added.
“I was sitting on the grid, and I was like, ‘This is the best car I’ve ever been in in my whole life. I’m gonna have to pee in this thing.’ I kid you not. I legitimately urinated before the race even started…I had to go really bad.”

Daly led the race for 13 laps and ended up in eighth following a car issue, but peeing himself in his car is something he should have probably kept to himself.
The 33-year-old also suggested that his diabetes probably contributed to his expulsion. Then again, there are worse places to pee yourself.
