The NBA finals are underway, and they have reached a crucial juncture. With the Oklahoma City Thunder leading the series 3-2, the Pacers will be looking to make a comeback. This will be a do-or-die game for the Pacers. One more slip-up, and the Thunder will be crowned the champion with a game to spare. Meanwhile, understanding the gravity of the situation, Bennedict Mathurin is ready to give it all in Game 6.
In a recent statement, Pacers guard Mathurin stated that he is ready to go hard. He also said that the Pacers’ unit must ‘feel a tickle’ in their belly ahead of Game 6. Coming into the most important game of the season, Mathurin looked locked in and vowed to fight for every rebound and dive on the floor to ensure the team’s victory.
“If you don’t feel that tickle in your belly playing a game (Thursday) then don’t show up…. I’m not saying I’m gonna drop 40. But I’m saying that I’m gonna make sure that I get the rebound and I dive on the floor and play as hard as I can,” said Mathurin.
