The Boston Celtics refused to let the New York Knicks finish the series on their home court. The defending champions came out strong and cruised to a 127-102 victory at TD Garden in Game 5 on Wednesday. Although they were without star forward Jayson Tatum, who missed the game due to an injury suffered in Game 4, the Celtics showed no signs of panic.
Derrick White delivered a stellar performance in Tatum’s absence, and five other Celtics players scored in double figures to push the series to a crucial Game 6. The Knicks now lead the series 3-2.
