Cooper Flagg hasn’t taken a shot in the NBA and is likely still brooding over Duke’s loss in this year’s national championship game, but that will be well and truly behind him soon enough, with an NBA career on the horizon.
The projected No. 1 overall pick should also be looking forward to what’s next and will have a better grasp of his future once the draft lottery takes place on May 12.
League next. Duke forever.

Whoever wins the lottery will likely win the sweepstakes for the highly rated forward, but trades do happen around draft time, which is why one has been proposed that would see the Milwaukee Bucks land him despite making it to the playoffs and having been among the better teams in the Eastern Conference for several years.
Of course, such a trade would not come cheap and would definitely involve All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
How The Milwaukee Bucks Can Acquire Cooper Flagg In This Year’s Draft

Sam Quinn of CBS has listed a few landing spots for the Greek superstar. One such team happens to be the Brooklyn Nets, who have been trying to prise Giannis away from Wisconsin for quite some time.

Should they end up with the No. 1 overall pick, Quinn reckons they could use it to snare the two-time MVP finally.
“Their own pick this year will be in the lottery, and if they jump into the top-four, then all the better. Cooper Flagg for Giannis Antetokounmpo seems, on paper, like a pretty reasonable present-for-future swap,” he reasons.
A Giannis Antetokounmpo trade to the Brooklyn Nets will have me lose all faith in @JoeTsai1999 and Sean Marks.

We are a bottom 3 roster in the entire NBA, Giannis would be 32 at his YOUNGEST by the time we had everything set up for a playoff run.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is set to dominate trade rumors during the offseason, given Milwaukee’s failings and what is likely to be a long-term injury for Damian Lillard.
Even so, he has not indicated that he wants to be traded, while previous years have seen him involved in such rumors only for him to commit to the Bucks.
