Kawhi Leonard has recently been one of the biggest stars of the NBA. Unfortunately, Leonard’s impeccable form in the league has often been marred by his injury problems. To put it into context, Leonard has missed 43 games this season. And from 2017, the total tally of his missed games stands at a whopping 299! However, now that he is back on the Los Angeles Clippers’ side, Leonard’s fiery form gives fans hope for a dramatic comeback.
Take their last game against the New York Knicks, for example. The Clippers were lagging by 14 points in the first half. But once the game resumed after the interval, Leonard and the Clippers returned strongly. Leonard led the charge by dropping 19 of his 27 points in the second half. What’s more impressive is that the 33-year-old had 10 rebounds and seven assists without a single turnover in over 41 minutes!
I know it’s already happened. I didn’t think I needed to specify but I meant we need to see a healthy postseason *as a Clipper*

Owing to Leonard‘s mastery, the Los Angeles Clippers have now won 9 of their last 11 games. As for Leonard, he has been averaging 25.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.6 steals in his previous 11 games. Truly, looking at his fiery form, the Clippers’ fans can surely dream of a miracle happening. Meanwhile, looking back, Isiah Thomas recently shared a ‘what if’ moment.
Isiah Thomas Goes Down The Memory Lane

Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas cannot help but look back at the 2017-18 season. Back in the season, Kawhi Leonard played for the San Antonio Spurs. While he returned after missing the first 27 games, Leonard missed out on a crucial Western Conference finals game against the Golden State Warriors.
Reflecting on the same, Thomas stated, “One of the greatest what ifs is: If Kawhi Leonard doesn’t get hurt in that Golden State series, San Antonio wins that series. If they don’t screw up with his medical rehab if Kawhi is still in San Antonio, would Golden State ever have happened?”
