Everybody loves to watch Charles Barkley breaking down basketball film during NBA games on TNT. On Monday night, Barkley joined the NHL on ESPN crew during the first intermission of Game Three of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Avalanche and Lightning to see if his analyzing skills would translate to hockey.
While describing the Lightning’s goal ahead goal, Barkley could not help himself and decided to take a shot at Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum.
Although Sir Charles would quickly apologize and say he was just joking, there was definitely some truth to the jab he took at Tatum.
The Celtics star set an NBA record for the most turnovers in a single postseason, becoming the first player to record 100 turnovers, eclipsing the mark of 94 set by LeBron James back in 2018. Of course, Tatum did also make it all the way to the NBA Finals, playing in two seven-game series and a six-game series along the way.
So it’s probably not something that Tatum should be too hard on himself over, regardless of what Barkley has to say about it.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
