‘NBA on TNT’ welcomed Anthony Towns after his triumphant performance in Game 5. With Barkley and O’Neal on the panel, things ought to get a bit interesting. Soon after showering the Knicks’ star with praise, O’Neal pointed out that KAT was wearing a pair of open-toe sliders with his toes out. As the duo engaged in a lighthearted banter, Barkley could not help but chime in. He pointed out that Anthony Towns had the best-looking toes.

Meanwhile, Towns and O’Neal had a moment of their own. It is a well-known fact that O’Neal reportedly spent over $1000 on pedicures. Even then, he could not get his toes to look good. Taking a jab at the same, Anthony Towns pointed out that his toes are better than the NBA legend’s. Meanwhile, all the jokes aside, KAT deserved all the praise being showered upon him. After all, he and Jalen Brunson ensured that the New York Knicks remained afloat.

Game 5 was a do-or-die game for the New York Knicks. One slip would have been the end of the road for the Knicks. Thankfully, they had the likes of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns in their ranks. And they delivered when it mattered the most. With the Knicks securing a 111-94 victory, they have diminished their lead to 3-2.

Karl-Anthony Towns took charge of the situation, dropping 24 points. He also added 13 rebounds and three assists to make it a complete performance. Jalen Brunson, too, chipped in with 32 points. Together, these two will carry the team’s hopes in Game 6 as they look to pull off a miracle.
