A potential Game 7 between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden could break more than just hearts. It can also break wallets as ticket prices soared to historic levels, with courtside seats listed at a staggering cost.
According to Tickpick, the average purchase price for the game is $1,565, making it the most expensive Eastern Conference Finals game ever recorded. A single courtside seat starts from $253,487, which is over half a million dollars. Even the cheapest available ticket will set fans back at least $1,099.

Absolute insanity. (Ticket prices via @TickPick) pic.twitter.com/AFs6C4v0am
The price is more than 400% higher than Game 6 tickets in Indianapolis, which start at just $215.It’s not shocking that the Knicks have some of the highest ticket prices in the league and have been in the conference finals for the first time since 2000.
But first, the Knicks need to win Game 6 in Indiana to bring the series back to New York. If they do, it would set the stage for one of the most anticipated games at the Garden in over two decades. Fans willing to afford it might witness history live, but watching the game on TV is a more practical choice for most.
