Devin Booker to the Dallas Mavericks?
As the NBA season is heading toward naming another champion team, the rest of the franchises have a lot of work to do.
However, the Mavericks may be on the verge of landing superstar Devin Booker in a trade that could very much change their team’s future. Instead of waiting to develop a rookie like Cooper Flagg, Dallas could choose to team up Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis with Booker right now.
Recently, ESPN’s Andre Snellings has put forward this bold trade proposal. According to him,
“Enter Booker, who was a first-team All-NBA shooting guard in 2021-22, and is squarely in his prime at 28 years old. A healthy core of Davis, Irving and Booker would be able to contend for championships immediately, and Booker would remain a centerpiece even as Davis and Irving start to age out of their primes. Add on that Dallas also gets some draft considerations in this deal,” Snellings wrote.

Bringing Booker into the mix would be a game-changer for Dallas. He can be an elite scorer, who also knows how to dish out assists and create plays. Everything that could make him the perfect fit alongside the talented duo of Irving and Davis.
