The 2024-25 NBA season was a rollercoaster ride for Dennis Schroder. He began the season with the Brooklyn Nets and appeared in just 23 games before being traded to the Golden State Warriors. However, his time in the Bay Area was also short-lived. After playing only 24 games for Golden State, the Warriors dealt him to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Lindy Waters III and a second-round pick.
Schroder’s frequent movement across teams has now placed him back into the center of offseason speculation. During a live stream on Saturday, he openly addressed the rumors about his future with the Pistons. Despite his desire to stay, the Detroit star admitted that the team may already be moving on.
“I want to stay in Detroit for sure, but Detroit ain’t waiting for me, I can tell you that much,” Schroder said.
